Seven & i Holdings Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Ryuichi Isaka) announced the launch of the second installment in its “Seven Premium Gummy Maru” series under the group’s private brand, “Seven Premium.” The new flavors, “Seven Premium Gummy Maru Kyoho Grape Flavor” and “Seven Premium Gummy Maru White Peach Flavor,” will be available starting Monday, November 18. Each pack contains 33g and is priced at 100 yen (excluding tax).
The products will be released in limited quantities across Seven & i Group stores. The gummy market has transitioned from being a trendy snack to a staple category, driven by growing demand for convenient snacking. The first release in the series, “Seven Premium Gummy Maru Lemon Flavor” and “Seven Premium Gummy Maru Shine Muscat Flavor,” launched in June, has sold over 1.7 million units as of the end of October 2024. The popularity stems from their enjoyable texture, cute appearance, and affordable price point of 100 yen.
The second installment continues to use domestically sourced fruit juice and puree to replicate the rich and juicy flavors of real fruit. The gummies feature a dual-layer structure with a springy, elastic texture on the outside and a soft, melty texture on the inside, allowing consumers to enjoy two distinct textures in every bite.
