Morinaga Milk Industry (Tokyo) will release the functional food “Bifidus Yogurt Double Bifidobacteria” from the “Bifidus Yogurt” series nationwide on April 14th.

 This is the first new large-capacity plain product in the series in 17 years since Bifidus Plain Yogurt Fat-Free.

 The new product is a functional yogurt that uses two types of functional ingredients, “Bifidobacterium BB536” and “Bifidobacterium MCC1274,” and has the functions of “reducing belly fat” and “regulating the intestinal environment.” It is the first yogurt in Japan to display two functions using only bifidobacteria as a functional ingredient.

 A new manufacturing method that reduces the oxygen concentration in the container’s headspace has increased the survival rate of two types of bifidobacteria.The large 400g fat-free product is designed to be easily consumed daily.

 It has a mellow taste with reduced acidity, making it easy to eat as is.
