Aeon Co., Ltd. (Mihama Ward, Chiba City; President: Akio Yoshida) will gradually launch 13 new oven-compatible “Oven Bag & Tray” products under its private brand “TOPVALU” starting Wednesday, November 20, to meet the demand for holiday gatherings such as Christmas parties. These items will be available at approximately 1,880 stores nationwide, including Aeon, Aeon Style, and Maxvalu locations.
The “Oven Bag & Tray” products feature heat-resistant inner bags and trays pre-packed with pre-cut ingredients. After a few simple preparation steps, customers can simply place them in the oven. The bags and trays retain the natural flavors and moisture of the ingredients, ensuring a uniformly browned, yet tender and juicy result. Moreover, heating within the bag or tray keeps the oven interior clean, making cleanup easier.
This year, Aeon has expanded the range by adding a “completely sealed” type, which includes marinated dishes like roast pork and simmered pork, as well as a “tray type” suitable for seafood such as salmon or vegetables that can be served directly from the oven to the table. The lineup has grown from 11 items last year to 13 items this year.
